Synopsis
I 40-talets New York hjälper sonen till en polisinspektör till att med anmärkningsvärd precision, lösa förbluffande fall. Den tredje tv-versionen av den berömda karaktären Ellery Queen, som i slutet av varje avsnitt bröt den fjärde väggen - dvs vände sig direkt mot tv-publiken och utmanande den till att lösa fallet, innan han avslöjade svaren.
