I prequeln, som har världspremiär imorgon 21 oktober, följer vi systrarna Katie och Kristi som barn. Inte ens då slipper de undan demonernas förföljelse eller en videokamera upp i ansiktet.
I väntan på MovieZines recension, som kommer upp på fredagskvällen, kolla in vad de amerikanska kritikerna tycker om "Paranormal Activity 3". På RottenTomatoes har filmen fått betyget 84% Fresh, vilket är väldigt bra för en skräckis.
Billy Goodykoontz på Arizona Republic tycker att:
- It's not so much a movie as it is a cinematic cardio exam, with directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, the guys who made "Catfish," pounding away again and again to see how much your heart can take.
Owen Gleiberman från Entertainment Weekly skriver:
- The bottom line, for me, is this: I don't scare easily at horror films (that's one of the reasons I tend to pan them), but I watched Paranormal Activity 3 in a state of high anxiety.
Brad Miska på Bloody Disgusting håller med:
- Joost & Schulman inject the mythology with life, jam-packing it with heart-exploding scares...tension, and more importantly, payoffs.
Något mer tveksam är Scott Weinberg från FEARnet:
- More of the same, which is both good and slightly tiresome by now.
Medan gamle gode Roger Ebert på Chicago Sun-Times inte alls imponerades av filmen:
- Inexplicably, there are people who still haven't had enough of these movies.
