Men det vore ju ingen Emmygala om inte "Game of Thrones" plockade några vinster också. HBO:s flaggskeppsserie belönades för Bästa drama och skådespelaren Peter Dinklage knep en statyett. "Game of Thrones" har nu vunnit totalt 45 Emmypriser under sina sju säsonger, vilket gör serien till den vinstrikaste dramaserien i Emmygalans historia!
Miniserien "Mordet på Gianni Versace" (som egentligen är andra säsongen i Ryan Murphys "American Crime Story") gick inte heller hem tomhänt.
